Social & Accompanying Persons Programme
Tours Depart Daily 13-17 May 2007
Hong Kong Island Tour
 |
Price: HK$280 per person Time: 09:00-13:00
An excellent orientation tour - the city changes so rapidly that it will refresh 'old memories' and delight 'first timers'. Start with a peak tram ride to the Victoria Peak for a panoramic view of the Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the surrounding islands. Travel to picturesque Repulse Bay and then to the fishing village of Aberdeen - a "floating community" - still very much a part of Hong Kong's cultural landscape. While there, you can join an optional "sampan" to get a close-up look of life on the water. Then, enjoy shopping among the stalls of Stanley Market, where you can pick up bargains on both casual wear and designer items.

The Heritage Tour
 |
Price: HK$360 per person Time: 09:00-14:00
Hidden away among high-rise apartment towers and busy highways, the past lives on in the New Territories... a living museum shaped by the rise and development of the so-called five great clans of Hong Kong (the Tang, Hau, Pang, Liu and Man). Taking in historic sites around the new Territories, the Heritage Tour brings to life the customs and cultures of these clans and provides a fascinating glimpse of Hong Kong's rich heritage.

360 Lantau Explorer Tour
 |
Price: HK$560 per person Time: 09:00-17:00
Lantau Island is almost twice the size of Hong Kong Island and is one of the best-loved outlying islands. Ngong Ping Skyrail is a unique world class tourist attraction with 5.7Km in length and 112 cabins. Explore the new Ngong Ping Skyrail to get a 360o panoramic view of Lantau Island including Tian Tan Big Buddha, the flora and fauna of North Lantau country Park, Tung Chung Bay and the Hong Kong International Airport. With the new development of Ngong Ping skyrail, and the opportunities to see a unique sub-species of the Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphin, the Island has become a new attraction in Hong Kong. Get close to nature on this tour and explore Tai O, a quaint fishing village where the houses are on stilts, visit the World's tallest, outdoor, seated bronze Buddha statue at the Po Lin Monastery and enjoy a great vegetarian meal there.
